5 Ways To Make Your House Smell Like Fall

5 Ways To Make Your House Smell Like Fall

There's just something about the crisp fresh scent of a fall day that makes us want to bottle it up and take it home. The smells of fall are classic, timeless, and most of all - comforting. We compiled the five best ways for you to capture these scents, and bring them inside this Fall season.

1. Create a simmering pot. Fill a pot with water, apples, cloves, or any of your favorite spices. Bring the water to a rolling boil then simmer on low heat (add more water as needed) and prepare for a full day of Fall aromas. Our favorite ingredients are apples, orange peels, cinnamon, cloves, mint, honey, vanilla, or whole cinnamon sticks.

2. Apple is a quintessential fall scent, and a great sneaky way to bring the orchard inside is to hide hints of apple smells throughout your home. Use the BoQay apple-scented flameless candle to hide in closets and small rooms to bring the autumn scents inside.

3. Bake a pumpkin pie! Ok, so this one will not only make your home smell like Fall but come on... then there's pie too! But if going to all the trouble of making a pie seems like too much work don't worry the Scent Station is here to save the day. The pumpkin spice scent smells exactly like a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte

4. Another trick to try, and then to drink, is to warm up some apple cider (Musselman's is one of our favorites) on the stove, add a stick of cinnamon (and a splash of rum if you wish) to light up the house with more autumn scents!

5. Lastly, and most effectively, just diffuse a few classic fall scents, such as pumpkin spice, or apple in an electric diffuser!
